In August 2023, our West Sound Technology Association (WSTA) and West Sound Coder Dojo (WSCD) family experienced the tragic and sudden loss of William “Bill” Huckabee, a longtime WSTA Secretary and WSCD founding member and mentor who had been with us for 23 years.

 

In honor of his unprecedented commitment and dedication to not only our organizations but to science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) learning, we are offering a $1000 scholarship in his name. It’s something Bill would have loved, and it’s the least we can do given our deep love and respect for him and his servant leadership.
