The scholarship began with a $1,000 award. Future amounts depend on funds raised. Applicants tell us what they want to pursue, why it matters, and how support would change what they are able to do next.

Bill died unexpectedly in August 2023 after 23 years with the WSTA community. He served as a longtime WSTA Secretary and was one of West Sound CoderDojo's founding mentors. The scholarship exists because his generosity, steadiness and servant leadership deserve to keep moving through the community.
His legacy is not a plaque. It is another person getting to build what comes next.
